The Center on Social Disparities in Health University of California, San Francisco, is glad to announce the talk by Dr Barbara Koenig on 'Race and Genomics/Genetics', for Wednesday March 6, Laurel Heights Campus, Noon-1:30 PM. Barbara Koenig is Adjunct Professor at the UCSF Institute for Health and Aging. The mission of the Center on Social Disparities in Health is to address the need for more reliable and timely information, as well as better use of existing information, to guide efforts to reduce social disparities in the United States and other countries. By bringing together a critical mass of multi-disciplinary expertise and effectively integrating research and monitoring with training and dissemination, the Center aims to continue to make major contributions toward informing policy to guide the reduction of health disparities in the United States and globally.
